INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED OPEN STUDIO (10 WEEK COURSE!) | TUESDAYS, 6-8PM | 2/24-4/28 | W/ Jo Pfeifer $400

$400.00

This ten week open studio is designed for those who have already taken an introductory class at Throw or another studio or educational setting, and want more time to practice and build skills on the wheel (or with handbuilding). The format is less formal than our other offerings, and will have less emphasis on demonstrations and more support for independent/individual projects.

This is a great opportunity to push your knowledge and skills with guidance in the areas of wheel thrown forms, sculpture or handbuilt forms, clay body experimentation, glaze application and experiments, etc.

You must attend the first or second class for a studio orientation, but after that, you are not required to attend the class (letting the instructor know if you do not intend to join is helpful, however!)

We’ll meet on Tuesday evenings for ten consecutive weeks beginning February 26th and ending April 28th.

Class fee includes: instruction, your own shelf, one (22 or 25 lb) bag of clay of your choosing, open studio access for practice (7 days/week, 9am-9:30pm), and use of all tools, equipment, glaze, and firings.
