Chris Alveshere will lead participants through questions like “What is Cone 6?”, “What is a glaze”, glaze chemistry basics, glaze material basics, understanding glaze formulas, kiln schedules, how to use glazy.org, and how to mix a test glaze. He will also provide a basic overview of how to choose/evaluate recipes when testing your own glazes, and explain glaze “fit”, common defects or problems, and how to test a glaze test for durability and success.
